Let me tell you a story about a guy who learned the hard way how to convince his girlfriend not to break up! A friend of mine, for the sake of his privacy, lets call him Jake. Well, Jake was in this exact situation. He had been getting the feeling that his girlfriend was uncertain of their future as a couple. He went tip toeing around her for a while, and straight up acted like a pushover and a kiss-up! It was painful to see him this way. I’ve known Jake for a long time, and he is usually a confident, self-assured and happy-go-lucky kind of guy. This went on for a while, but as a friend I did not confront him with their problems. The technique I’m going to share with you today is about how you can read eye movements, and use this information for instant connection in your communication with your ex girlfriend. You see, by reading a persons eye movements you can determine witch communication patterns, or specific words you can use in communication with them, to make them feel like the two of you are communicating on a deep level, and have a very special connection.

Now, I know this might sound like a whole lot of BS, but I encourage you to reed through the whole post, and then go out and try it on a few people! The result will speak for it self.

All people have a preferred modality, we can divide people in to three groups when it comes to this specific NLP technique: auditory, kinesthetic or visual modalities. And through studying eye movements we can determine how people are thinking, and how we best can communicate and connect with them.

Just a note: all people have a little bit of all of these modalities, but to simplify, let’s focus on their preferred one.

Visual Modality:

When people are in a visual mode, their eyes go up. Just like they are watching the ceiling. This is usually when they reflect on something or are thinking about what you are saying. You can also listen to what kinds of verbs they are using in their communication. Phrases like “I see what you mean”, or “Picture this…” or “”Do you see what I mean?”

If you want to connect with someone with a visual modality, the best thing to do is to use these same kinds of phrases in your communication with them.

TIPS: Pay attention to what people do with their hands. Visual people are almost always talking with their hands.

Auditory Modality:

Auditory peoples eyes stay in the middle, they don’t look up, nor down, they stare straight ahead ore to the side. If your ex girlfriend is mainly auditory- you should keep attention to her use of verbs. For example she might use phrases like “Sounds good to me” or “Does that sound like a plan?” or “Listen up..”. If you communicate with her in that same modality, you really have a leg up!

Kinesthetic Modality:

Kinesthetic people tend to look down. They are really focused on their own and others feelings. Kinesthetic people also touch them self a lot. In their communication they might use phrases like “It feels good” or “How did you feel when..” or “It feels to me as if…” If this is the case with your ex, I’m guessing you know what to do by now? That’s right! You follow her lead and communicate to her feelings!

If she is “drunk dialing” you, this might also bee a good sign, at least in most cases.

Warning 1: She might just be feeling sorry for her self and alone, and want to know she still “owns” you

4: “The Look and the Touch”

If your ex girlfriend looks at you, and touches you the way she used to when you where still in a relationship, it is a pretty good indicator that she wants you back!

Warning: She might just want too keep you around as her door-math (But I’m sure you know your ex by now, and that you know if this is the case) So don’t get your hopes up to much, but don’t be completely paranoid either.

5: “Looking Good”

Another sign that she wants you back is if she is working on improving herself, inside or outside. If she has taken charge over her life, if she has begun to dress up more than she used to, if she is working through her inner issues, you get the drill. If she is working hard to impress you, or become more attractive to you, it’s a good sign! It might even mean that she is chasing you, and that is just where we want her to be!
